Terms of service
Who we are
Raisewell is the trading name of Albert Rocard, a sole trader, of 14 Cotmore Close, Chillington, Devon TQ7 2JN. You can contact us at hello@raisewell.co.uk.
What we provide
We prepare documents and market evidence for rent increases on assured periodic tenancies in England, using the information you give us. We are not a law firm. We don't give legal advice, and we don't represent you at any tribunal or court.
Your part
You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete, that you are the landlord or allowed to act for them, and that the property is in England. You decide the rent, sign the notice and serve it.
Delivery
We aim to deliver within one working day of a complete order. If we need more information from you, the time starts when we have it.
Prices and payment
Prices are on our pricing page and are taken at checkout by Stripe. Autopilot renews each year until you cancel, and we remind you before each renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel for a full refund before we start work. By asking us to start straight away, you agree that you lose the right to cancel once your pack has been delivered. This doesn't affect our guarantee.
Valid-notice guarantee
If a tribunal or court finds your notice invalid because of an error we made in preparing it, we refund your fee and prepare a corrected notice free. The guarantee doesn't cover errors in the information you gave us, how or when the notice was served, or changes in the law after delivery.
Our liability
We take care with every pack. Our total liability for an order is limited to the fee you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow a limit.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Privacy notice
Who is responsible

What we collect
Your name, contact details and address; the property's details; your tenants' names and tenancy details; and payment confirmations from Stripe. We never see your card number.
Why we use it
To prepare and deliver your pack and reminders, which is our contract with you. To keep the records we need for tax and complaints. To send our newsletter, only if you ask for it.
Your tenants' details
We use your tenants' names and tenancy details only to prepare your documents. We don't contact your tenants.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run Raisewell, under contracts that protect your data: Stripe (payments, and the order details you give us at checkout), Google Workspace (email and file storage), Make (automation), Cloudflare (website hosting and order processing) and Anthropic (AI tools that help us draft documents). Some are based outside the UK; where they are, your data is protected by UK adequacy regulations or approved transfer agreements. We don't sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order details for 12 months after delivery, or for as long as you use Autopilot. Accounting records for six years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email hello@raisewell.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commission (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office), at ico.org.uk.
Disclaimer
Our guides, free tools and packs are general information based on GOV.UK guidance, ONS statistics and published tribunal decisions as at 13 October 2026. They aren't legal advice. Rules can change, and if your situation is unusual you should speak to a solicitor.
Complaints
If something isn't right, email hello@raisewell.co.uk with your order details. We'll reply within two working days and aim to sort it out within 14 days. If we can't resolve your complaint, we'll tell you in writing. You can get free, impartial advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service, and you can take a claim to the small claims court.
